What to grow in a potting shed?

A potting shed is very similar to a greenhouse, so whatever you would normally plant in your greenhouse can also be done in your potting shed.

You can plant various species in your potting shed, such as:

  1. Begonias
  2. Geraniums
  3. Dianthus
  4. Lobelia
  5. Sweet Peas
  6. Spinach
  7. Lettuce
  8. Strawberries
  9. Rosemary

to name a few.

The main thing to consider is the temperature, as particularly over winter, there will be some drops in degrees that'll kill off a lot of plant types.

You can invest in a greenhouse heater and insulation to help keep the plants warmer over the cold months.

If you're looking to upgrade your existing potting shed, or purchase one for the first time, then we stock a fantastic range of brands and sizes with Free Delivery and Installation, in our potting shed category here.
