The Halls 8x10 Magnum greenhouse offers a large growing area with a very sturdy frame,plenty of room inside for the tallest of gardeners due to an increased eave and ridge height. The Magnum has braces on each eave and across each roof apex, also strong cast joints at the corners and ridge ends along with the box section ridge make this a very strong greenhouse for the UK weather conditions.
Comes as standard with 4 roof windows, together with large double sliding lockable doors on the 8ft width.

The Magnum is our top selling range of 8ft wide greenhouses. Big and spacious with lots of bracing for strength this is a perfect greenhouse for the keen gardener. One big plus we have found when installing is that because of the diagonal braces found on each of the 4 sides combined with diagonal braces from each corner of the roof that they pull the greenhouse nice and square, this makes glazing and fitting doors and windows much easier!

Glazing

Horticultural Glass

Standard greenhouse glass supplied in 3mm thick overlapping sheets.

Toughened Glass

Halls only use toughened glass to British standard, this is long pane sheets for a neater finish and eliminates any overlapping which can have an algae and moss build up. Much stronger than horticultural glass these panes will granulate if broken removing the danger of serious injury.

Halls Base

The Halls base is a must for most people, this handy accessory replaces the need to build a brick surround or similar.All greenhouses need to be well supported and this has been manufactured for this exact greenhouse and makes a strong footing that will last as long as your greenhouse.
This enables the greenhouse to be sited on nearly any firm surface and is suitable for soil, grass, concrete, slabs, decking etc.
Supplied with ground anchors and all necessary brackets to attach to your greenhouse, this also has the added benefit of adding 128mm to your greenhouse height.
Supplied in a galvanized steel finish to suit the silver aluminium greenhouse frame.

Without the base you will need to build a raised plinth to the exact measurements of your greenhouse.

Installation

Halls UK Installation

Have your greenhouse installed by Halls, this service is available to the whole of mainland UK.
Installation must be on to a prepared hard standing such as concrete or slabs, and the Halls base purchased.
Installers will fit Autovent's , Louvre's, Extra Windows and Rainwater Kits for free. Other accessories may be charged.

Extra Roof Window

Additional roof vents can be purchased for added ventilation, the drop down box will show the maximum available to fit your greenhouse. All extra roof vents are supplied with the correct glazing and are the same aluminium finish as your chosen frame.

Some models feature the maximum roof vents as standard, in this case there is no drop down box.

Auto Vent

These are probably the most common accessory sold with greenhouses along with staging. Automatically opens the roof window according to temperature up to 18" to allow maximum ventilation, these are easily fitted with the supplied clamps and no drilling is required. Choose one for each window you wish to automatically open.

Louvre

Louvres provide low level ventilation and are an excellent accessory. Humid and stagnant air can cause condensation which develops mould and disease, by adding louvres to the rear or side of your building fresh air is drawn in and encourages circulation. These 5 blade matching aluminium louvres are supplied with toughened glass.

Autolouvre

These automatic louvre openers will open and close your louvre for you depending on the air temperature. You will need one Autolouvre for each louvre you wish to open automatically.
Please note that some drilling is required to fit this accesory.

Rainwater Kits

You will be amazed at the amount of water that you can collect off a greenhouse roof, it would be a shame to waste it! These are designed to be used with the built in gutters that are on the greenhouse.

One Side

Each kit comprises of parts to fit one side of your greenhouse. One stopper is supplied to fit one end of your greenhouses built in gutter, for the other end connectors and pipe are supplied to make a rainwater downpipe which can then be fitted into a water barrel or simply to direct the water where you wish.

1 Tier Silver Staging

Halls 1 Tier staging is made from a sturdy aluminium frame and makes a perfect surface for you to work on, the slatted design allows for air flow to your plants whilst letting spills through.

These free standing units are made to fit a 4ft section of your greenhouse, you can position your staging wherever you please. For your convenience the drop down box shows the maximum you can fit around the interior of your greenhouse when up against the sides.

8x10 will take 6 Max, 2 down each side and 2 at the back.
8x12 will take 7 Max, 3 down each side and 1 at the back.
8x14 will take 8 Max, 3 down each side and 2 at the back.

2 Tier Silver Staging

These are similar to the 1 Tier Staging but have the added addition of a 2nd lower shelf to give you much more flexibility and storage. The slatted design also allows you to water the lower level through the gaps in the top!

Top Tier Silver Staging

These handy top staging units are designed to fit snugly on to either a 1 Tier or 2 Tier staging unit giving you a higher narrower shelf, great for storing your tools and pots etc.

Potting Bench

Made from a sturdy silver aluminium frame this is designed with your potting needs in mind, featuring a high sided compost tidy on top with a reversible tray below.

Shading Netting

Protect your plants from scorching in the sun with this attractive green shading netting, simple to attach to the inside of the greenhouse frame with the supplied fixings.

1 pack is sufficient to cover 1 side of your greenhouse.

Maxi Heater

Keep your greenhouse warmed with the Halls Maxi Heater, simply fill with paraffin with no need for electric.
Ventilation is required when in use.

Plant Spirals

Hang these sturdy green plant spirals to the greenhouse roof to support your tomato/cucumber or similar plants that may need a little help to grow high. Can be adjusted in length by pulling the coils.

Plant Rings

Use these plant rings anywhere in your greenhouse for running wires across or hanging plant ties.
Supplied in packs of 20.

Automatic Irrigation

Can be used both in the greenhouse and also with outdoor plants. This automatic irrigation system is gravity based and distributes the water/fertilizer to your plants via hoses, Y connectors and drip pins. Each pin can be adjusted to suit your plants need.
The system has a tank which will mix fertilizer and water and has an automatic fill feature.

Very pleased with greenhouse, took a long weekend to put up with help from the wife the black rubber was fiddly to put on.
Much bigger inside than I expected I have to go on tiptoe to open the windows.
