Swallow 8x10 Raven greenhouses are traditionally built using Thermowood glazing bars of a sturdy 58mm x 32mm thickness. Thermowood is a heat treated timber that is extra strong and durable with a consistent attractive finish, heat and steam modify the timber to greatly reduce the water and resin content, this leaves a very stable wood that is perfect for outdoor buildings and is expected to last for decades!

A fully fitted combination shed can be added to the back of your greenhouse.
 
Swallow greenhouses have a high eaves height for more comfortable working space, are boarded around the bottom and can be purchased with the natural wood finish or you can choose to have your greenhouse painted in a choice of attractive colours. The 8x10 Raven is supplied with four roof vents.

Swallow greenhouses are delivered and installed at the same time by Swallow. A firm and level base area will need to be ready such as slabs, concrete, decking, sleepers or similar.

Choose to have your greenhouse in natural finish Thermowood or painted in one of 9 attractive colours (some exclusive to us)
An oil service is available on Thermowood, this is professionally sprayed by Swallow and will help protect the frame from the elements, preserving the colour of the wood and reducing water stains and sun bleaching.

We also offer a colour matching service, using Swallows in house paint facility we can match most colours if you are trying to coordinate! Phone us with your choice.

Swallow have their own spray booth facility which enables them to paint their greenhouses to a high quality finish. Painted before glazing and sometimes in component form for a seamless finish.
The paint used is a water borne acrylic which has a flexible microporous protective film, this top quality paint is resistant to bacterial mould and UV attack.

Included Staging
This building comes with a length of staging included, this is supplied as Thermowood as standard with all finishes, at a small extra cost this can be painted to match your frame colour.

High Shelf
Add a High Level Shelf to your greenhouse for extra storage.
Perfect for all those pots and tools you can choose to add one shelf which runs the whole length of your greenhouse or choose two so you can have one each side.

Can be painted to match your chosen frame colour.
 
Extra Staging
If you need more work space for your potting and planting you can choose to add another full length of staging to add to the one you get as standard.

Can be painted to match your frame.
 
Gutter System
Don't waste all that water that you can get off your greenhouse roof, add the quality PVC Gutter System to your order.
The gutter is added to both sides of the greenhouse and you can choose to have 2 downpipes (1 on each side) or you can have a joining gutter section across the back going into 1 downpipe.

Available in black or white.
 
 
Side Vents
Ventilation is important for every greenhouse to increase airflow and to control the inside temperature.

Choose to add these low level opening side/rear windows. (we will confirm position of windows with you)

Choose painted option with a painted frame.
 
Ornate Door Handle
An attractive ornate black door handle is available to add to your order.
   
Benches

These high quality 2 tier slatted benches are freestanding and can be placed where you wish, these are suitable for inside or outside use.

Available in 4ft or 6ft lengths.

Can be painted to match.
 
 
Sparrow & Wren Cold Frames
  Matching cold frames sturdily built with toughened glass hinged roofs.

Sparrow is 4'5 long by 2'1 wide
Wren is 4'5 long by 3'4 wide

Extra Rear Doors
  An extra pair of rear doors can be added to your greenhouse to enable you to have access at both ends.

Swallow Raven With Combination Shed Examples

Add a practical shed on to the back of your greenhouse, these are of the same quality of your greenhouse with the door on the inside of the greenhouse.
Choose to add a rear door for access to the shed from your garden.
Supplied with a fitted floor and 2 shelves as standard, the roof covering is a high quality vinyl for durability. 
Choose if you want any fixed or opening windows in your shed (we will confirm position with you)
Available in a choice of 4ft3" - 6ft4" - 8ft4" - 10ft5" length's.
Can be oiled or painted to match.
If you have ordered guttering or cresting for your greenhouse you can add a shed extension to run the full length of your building.

Fantastic build quality, the shed extension is brilliant, and the attention to detail is first class. The thermowood look and feel makes it look more expensive than it is and certainly competes with some RHS 'certified' versions where you will pay 4 x the price! The large building was erected in less than 4 hours and the guys arrived promptly.

Love it!! Delivery arrived smack on time and had built in 1.5 hours.
My only regret was not ordering a side vent but may go for it at a later date.
Already full of cuttings and seeds

A brilliant greenhouse!

4 weeks in and I absolutely love this greenhouse. It feels really solid and spacious. We used new sleepers as a base and this has given us additional height.
The greenhouse arrived ahead of schedule and on the day the 2 guys arrived, with the greenhouse pre-glazed, promptly at 8am as promised and they were brilliant. By afternoon I had started moving my plants in. Thank you
